What's in a name?

In order to achieve our goal of positioning our region as a unified, single destination, we had to give it an identity- a name. Although many names were considered, we ultimately decided on the name, THE Beach. While there are many places with beautiful beaches in the world, no other beach can compare to our beautiful, sparkling white sands, nor the total experience of going to THE Beach- the natural beauty, luxury accommodations, great restaurants and shopping, a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, family oriented entertainment, fishing, golf and more. This name, and the marketing efforts that go along with it, will redefine what it means to "go to the beach."

I think is a great idea. With the organizational capabilities that can be achieved with web sites today, no matter what area on our coast a visitor may be interested in, they will be able to, hopefully, find out everything they wanted to know and then some. The website looks great -- nothing less than perfection from that great group over at CYSY.com I'm looking forward to seeing how the project grows!
